Pre/Post Natal Exercise Programs

A pregnant body undergoes many physiological and anatomical changes that need to be taken in to consideration, such as weight gain, center of gravity changes and balance changes.
Valorie requires all pre and postnatal clients to obtain medical clearance before a fit pregnancy program can begin.
Areas of focus will include:
- Cardiovascular training for your health and well being of your fetus
- Pelvic floor awareness exercises
- Balance training
- Training for your current activities of daily life
- Specific strength and endurance exercises to prepare for delivery and caring for your new baby
The Postnatal body also goes through many anatomical and physiological changes. This can also include hormonal changes for up to and often beyond 6 weeks post birth.
After the baby arrives and your physician has given medical clearance, training to regain your body will begin. The areas of focus will include:
- Cardiovascular training
- Posture Training
- Abdominal and Core specific exercises
- Correct lifting, carrying, holding and movement patterns
